Rotary Club Organises Polio Awareness Rally and Outreach Programme at Kodaikanal

 A Polio Awareness Rally and outreach programme was organized by the Rotary Club at Kodaikanal Lake with the objective of creating awareness about polio eradication and the importance of immunization among the public. The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) , Kodaikanal, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the rally. More than 50 college students actively participated in the event, along with Rotary members and officials, making the programme impactful and well-organized. The rally was conducted around the Kodaikanal Lake, where students carried banners and placards conveying strong messages on polio prevention and vaccination. The participation of students played a major role in attracting public attention and spreading awareness effectively.  A special workshop on Mental Wellness and Productive Living was organized at Government Arts and Science College for Women, Kodaikanal, on December 6, 2025. The program focused on guiding students toward healthier habits, emotional balance, and a more productive lifestyle. The session featured Countin Yasai , Director of Unleash the Hero, who delivered an engaging and insightful talk based on the book “The Miracle Morning.” He explained the SAVERS principles Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing and discussed how following these morning practices can transform daily routines and overall mindset. Formation of the Interact Club – Government High School, Kodaikanal

        The Interact Club of Government High School, Kodaikanal was formally established in the presence of members from the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal, school staff, and students.
