Formation of the Interact Club – Government High School, Kodaikanal

        The Interact Club of Government High School, Kodaikanal was formally established in the presence of members from the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal, school staff, and students. The ceremony was presided over by Rtn. Pavithra Ravindran, President of the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal, with IPP Rajkumar serving as the Chief Guest for the occasion.

The program commenced with the collaring ritual, followed by the Rotary Prayer. In her welcome address, Rtn. Pavithra extended greetings to all dignitaries and officially presented the Interact Club Charter to the school, marking the beginning of the club's activities.

Introduction of Office Bearers
A key highlight of the event was the formal introduction of the newly selected Interact Club representatives for the academic year.
The office bearers are:
President: Shiva Shakti
Secretary: Esther Rani
Treasurer: Harini

The oath-taking and pinning ceremony was conducted with due formality. Incoming President Shiva Shakti delivered an acceptance speech expressing gratitude and sharing her commitment to fulfilling her responsibilities.

Following the introduction by Secretary Robin, the Chief Guest IPP Rajkumar addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on leadership, responsibility, and service. The School Headmaster and Interact Advisor conveyed their felicitation, appreciating the Rotary Club’s support and congratulating the new team.

Interact Secretary Esther Rani proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all dignitaries, teachers, and students. The program concluded with the National Anthem.

Christmas Celebration at CSI Rehabilitation Centre

The Rotary Club of Kodaikanal organized a Christmas celebration at the CSI Rehabilitation Centre, creating an atmosphere of joy and festive cheer for the children with disabilities residing at the centre. The celebration included several service contributions aimed at supporting the needs of the institution.            As part of the initiative, three name boards were sponsored, contributing to better identification and organization within the centre. In addition, sweaters were donated by the Club Secretary, Rtn. Robin, providing warmth and comfort to the children during the season.
