Hearing Aid Donation

    As part of its continuing community service initiatives, the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal undertook a hearing aid donation to support an individual in need. A hearing aid was donated to the beneficiary, Ruban, with the intention of assisting him in overcoming hearing-related challenges in his day-to-day life.

Hearing ability plays a vital role in communication, learning, and social interaction. Recognizing this, the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal identified the need for support and provided the hearing aid as a practical measure to help improve the beneficiary’s hearing capacity. This initiative reflects the club’s focus on addressing specific community needs through direct and meaningful action.

The donation aims to enhance Ruban’s overall quality of life by enabling clearer communication and greater participation in daily activities. While simple in nature, such support can have a significant impact on personal well-being and confidence.

Christmas Celebration at CSI Rehabilitation Centre

The Rotary Club of Kodaikanal organized a Christmas celebration at the CSI Rehabilitation Centre, creating an atmosphere of joy and festive cheer for the children with disabilities residing at the centre. The celebration included several service contributions aimed at supporting the needs of the institution.            As part of the initiative, three name boards were sponsored, contributing to better identification and organization within the centre. In addition, sweaters were donated by the Club Secretary, Rtn. Robin, providing warmth and comfort to the children during the season.
