Governor’s Official Visit – Rotary Club of Kodaikanal

The Rotary Club of Kodaikanal successfully hosted the Governor’s Official Visit on 5th November. The visit was conducted in an organized and disciplined manner, strictly adhering to all the criteria outlined in the Governor’s official checklist.

During the visit, the club’s activities, administration, and service initiatives were carefully reviewed. The Rotary Club of Kodaikanal met all expectations and standards set by the Rotary District, which resulted in the club being awarded a Five-Star Rating. The club also received high appreciation from the Honorable Governor for its consistent performance and commitment to Rotary ideals.

The occasion was made more special as the 53rd Charter Day of the Rotary Club of Kodaikanal was celebrated on the same day. Members reflected on the club’s long-standing service to the community and reaffirmed their dedication to humanitarian and social service activities.

This successful Governor’s Visit stands as a strong recognition of the club’s effective leadership, teamwork, and commitment to service above self.

Christmas Celebration at CSI Rehabilitation Centre

The Rotary Club of Kodaikanal organized a Christmas celebration at the CSI Rehabilitation Centre, creating an atmosphere of joy and festive cheer for the children with disabilities residing at the centre. The celebration included several service contributions aimed at supporting the needs of the institution. As part of the initiative, three name boards were sponsored, contributing to better identification and organization within the centre. In addition, sweaters were donated by the Club Secretary, Rtn. Robin, providing warmth and comfort to the children during the season.
